Over the weekend, I read a story about a 4-year-old little boy who took his mother’s car for a joy ride after his dad left for work Saturday morning. Although he did manage to hit a couple of parked cars, thankfully no one was hurt. When the police arrived on the scene, they asked the boy what happened. When the boy motioned to the steering wheel, they asked him if he knew how the car worked. The half pint proceeded to put the keys in the ignition, turn the car on and press the clutch and gas with his feet! I know 40-year-olds who are too afraid to drive a clutch. Yet here’s a 4-year-old who figured it out. We could all learn a lesson for that little guy. Don’t let fear prevent you from building the life of your dreams. Take action and make it happen! But unlike the little guy who crashed his mom’s car, you don’t need to wait to grow up. If you have the desire and determination, your next step is to take action! And don’t forget I’m here if you ever need some guidance or direction! Committed to your success, Ernie “I’m A Good Driver” Vargas | The Probate Fox |
