So Much Death

Sometimes we get so wrapped up in our own little world, that we forgot that there’s a lot going on outside of our own bubble.

If you watch the mainstream news, all you’ll hear about is Chinese spy balloons, celebrities sleeping with each other, or who’s gonna win the Super Bowl.

They often skip the important stories because tragedies that don’t happen in our own backyard to people we’ll never know don’t sell ads. Take the earthquake that hit Turkey and Syria a couple of days ago. Over 21,000 people are presumed dead and that number is expected to keep climbing. And on top of the earthquake devastation that has hit that region, the freezing temps are claiming even more victims.

So what can we do for these unfortunate people? I’m sure there are places to donate to. But even more importantly, remember to keep them in your prayers.

You’re probably wondering where the real estate lesson is in this story. That’s not my point today. I just think it’s important to stay aware of people like this and help however we can.

Victims are often usually forgotten. They don’t make for exciting news. Most people consider them someone else’s problem.

But now that I think about it, probate is a way you can help people in need. There are far too many unscrupulous people out in the market trying to literally steal properties from grieving family members.

Be a hero to people in need. By prayer, financial assistance, volunteering your time, or by making it your professional mission to be of assistance to families who need a hero they can trust.

To your success,
Ernie Vargas | The Probate Fox
