| I was talking to my marketing director, Mark, the other day about kids nowadays and their video games. Back in the day, the only video game I used to play was Pac-Man (yup, I’m an old fart). But Mark was telling me how he would spend hours playing Super Mario Bros, Castlevania, and Contra on the original NES back in the ’80s. He said he still has the super-secret contra code memorized – up, up, down, down, left, right, left, right, B, A, start lol. Back then we couldn’t save the game and there were no do-overs. You had to play from beginning to end all in one sitting. Mark & I are too busy with the business and family to play anymore, but our kids do and they’re always talking about leveling up. I’ve always loved the concept of leveling up. In fact, that’s exactly what we do here at The Probate Fox and the REI Leadership Academy. We help real estate investors and agents move to the next level (some of our best and most ambitious students skip a few levels and move right to the top!). |
