William Hearst, Albert Einstein, and Ernie Vargas?

Did you know there is an unfinished castle in California?

The Hearst Castle, located on the central coast of California in San Simeon, was built by the notorious turn-of-the-century media magnate William Randolph Hearst in 1919.

Well, that’s not entirely true. Construction started in 1919, but continued for 28 years with the castle never being entirely completed.

Many years ago I went on a day-long tour of the castle and learned so much about William Hearst and his castle, but what impressed me most was his childhood travels.

Growing up and traveling the world in the late 1800s, William had the most unique experiences.
As a child, he was able to absorb different cultures firsthand. He discovered the unique ways in which people lived through their art, music, food, and architecture. Even more fascinating was his opportunity to absorb all of this information at such a young age.

I believe this was the hinge that opened the door to William’s incredible imagination and entrepreneurial spirit. And I further believe it is most evident not in the immense media empire he created, but in his amazing castle at San Simeon CA.

Albert Einstein once said, “The mind that opens up to a new idea never returns to its original size.” That intensely profound statement describes William Randolph Hearst without qualification.

I often think of myself as a bit of a protégé of Hearst’s.

Now I’m not trying to compare myself with the great William Hearst. My experiences don’t come close to his, but the concept of opening oneself to others through one-on-one deep conversations with folks from different walks of life has given me and my family a wider perspective.

It has allowed us to dream about things each of us would like to accomplish and the reality of what is possible.
William Hearst found magazines, newspapers, and other media to be the vehicle that powered his ambitions.

For me, and most likely you too, it’s the opportunity found in real estate.

I know in my heart that even today, especially today, there is an abundance of opportunity for you to live exactly the kind of life that you want.

You’ve seen the television shows, YouTube videos, and even people in your neighborhood rehabbing and reselling properties. The truth is this business is completely available to anybody who so chooses to take bold action to go after it.

As a Probate Fox family member, I want to be here to enlighten your mind and stir up your heart to go after the success that you want in this business.

Let’s dream together and build your castle together.
Committed to your success,
Ernie “King Of The Castle” Vargas | The Probate Fox
