Just Call me Clark Griswold

Have you ever seen the movie National Lampoon’s Vacation? Chevy Chase plays a loony but loving father Clark Griswold who takes his family across the country on a vacation full of mishaps and shenanigans.

Call me crazy, but the Vargas family is heading out the door in about a half-hour to embark on a family road trip across America. All four of our kids and one of their friends are all coming with Kathy and I on this epic adventure.
Our first stop will be in southern Utah. We’ve been there plenty of times, but the national parks and hikes are so beautiful, we can’t drive through without stopping.

After that, we’re in uncharted territory as we head to the Black Hills area of South Dakota. We’re going to hit Needle’s Highway, Mount Rushmore, and Badlands National Park.

I love being a real estate investor. I can travel where I want, when I want, and never miss a deal because my office (my phone) travels with me!

Unlike some of the so called real estate guru’s, I focus on quality rather than quantity. I’d rather make big money on just a few deals with probate while everyone else is working ten times the deals at much smaller margins and making less than me.

I’d rather work smarter, not harder!

I can hear Kathy yelling at me to get off the computer so we can head out the door. I’ll keep you updated as we work our way through our 5,400 mile journey!

We’ll be driving all the way through Wisconsin, Upper Michigan, Tennessee, and back through New Mexico on our way back to L.A. If you have any suggestions on sites to see along the way or places to stop, please let me know!
