Baba Yaga is Coming for You…

Every culture has some version of the Boogyman. My favorite version is Russia’s. They call him Baba Yaga. If you’ve seen any of the John Wick movies, you know that Keanu Reeves plays a pretty good Baba Yaga.

When Baba Yaga comes to visit, fear comes with him.

It sort of feels like Baba Yaga is working the real estate scene right now. All I’m reading in chat rooms from investors, brokers, and agents is how the markets are shifting and how they don’t know how to move forward. Houses are starting to go into foreclosure. The Fed keeps raising interest rates and homes just aren’t moving like they were. Competition is fierce and margins are shrinking.

But I ain’t scared. Baba Yaga doesn’t exist as far as I’m concerned.

Over the next 20 years, over 30 trillion smackeroons of inherited wealth in America is going to move from the baby boomers to their heirs. And a whopping 60% of that is going to end up in probate. Do you realize how much money that is? It is an insane amount of money. And the good news for you and me is that most people who want to get into probate end up doing it all wrong.

But that’s bad news for the families who are stuck in the tangled web of probate. They are in desperate need of honest, caring real estate professionals who will look out for THEIR best interests.
I’ve been working probate for over 20 years. I’ve lived through 2008. I’ve watched as brokers, agents, and investors lost everything. I’m not talking about them getting their feelings hurt. I’m talking about bankruptcy, foreclosure, and the repo guy stalking you to take your fancy car back.

But none of that happened to me or my students. In fact, we were able to grow our businesses while everyone else was withering on the vine. The 30 trillion dollar tidal wave is just starting. It’s not too late to cash in. But every day that goes by is a huge missed opportunity.

I know we’re headed into some scary, uncertain times. Don’t let that fear paralyze you. There is sooo much opportunity waiting for you. But it’s up to you to take that first step.

To your success,
Ernie “Baba Yaga” Vargas | The Probate Fox
