How do I know this? I’ll tell you my scientific approach to the weather; a rodent in Pennsylvania didn’t see his shadow.
Never mind the fact that this groundhog, named Punxsutawney Phil, has only been right 40% of the time since 1887 (that’s one old groundhog!). Thousands of people travel hundreds of miles to partake in this spectacle.
I think what this teaches us is that the human race can be a strange bunch. It’s not always easy to understand why they make the choices that they do.
This is exactly why probate is such a blue ocean niche in real estate. There’s no exact blueprint or cookie-cutter response when working with an heir going through probate.
People are complicated and in regards to probate, their emotions and motivations can be complex. This is one of the few instances where AI isn’t going to help you.
But like I always say, the bigger the problem – the bigger the payday!
And very few people are capable of having these deeper conversations with people. Most real estate investors only have one line, “I’ll buy your house for cash.”
That just doesn’t cut it in probate. And this is why it’s a blue ocean niche. If you genuinely enjoy helping people and are ok with getting paid handsomely for doing it, probate real estate just might be the right niche for you.
