Minimum Wage is Out of Control

West Hollywood, which is about a 30-minute drive from my house, made the national news last week.
It’s not a place I visit often. In fact, I usually try to avoid it all together.

Normally West Hollywood is in the news because some fake celebrity has made some fake statement or done some fake “newsworthy” thing.

But not this time.

West Hollywood just voted in the highest minimum wage in the entire country.

High school kids and entry-level jobs will now get paid a whopping $18 per hour.

It blows my mind how short-sighted people are. The people celebrating this have no idea what this will mean for them down the road.

Automation, outsourcing, relocation, and closing all just became much more attractive options for business.

The sad reality is that the government does not have our best interests in mind.They don’t care about you or me.

It’s becoming more and more clear that their goal is to cripple small businesses and make everyone dependent upon the government.

Why? So they can control us.

Being an independent thinker and entrepreneur is not only more important now than ever before, but it’s also becoming a lot harder too.

In real estate, the game may be the same, but the playing field is constantly shifting.
