That College Education Was A Waste of Money

A friend of mine has a daughter who was a straight “A” student all the way through high school. My buddy shelled out big bucks so she could attend the most prestigious high school

College? It was MIT and on to Harvard after that. All paid for by daddy.

Now he’s a walking zombie working multiple jobs because he racked up over 250k in debt for his daughter’s journey through the college money machine.

Is there a happy ending?

She did get a job at the prestigious JPL, but she’s only making a measly 70k a year.

And to make matters worse, she’s living back at home with her pothead loser boyfriend who’s a high school dropout, paying nothing for rent and eating all the food in his fridge while he’s working multiple jobs trying to pay for everything.

Now don’t get me wrong, college is great if you want to become a doctor, scientist, or teacher.

It’s also an effective way to have your child brainwashed by the woke elite.

There’s an important lesson here. Don’t let other people dictate what you want out of life.

Your children are important but you need to be a strong leader for them.

You’re not going to be the best version of yourself if you don’t expect more out of those you love most.

My buddy would have been way better off if he would have forced his daughter to pay her own way through college.

Or better yet, for a tiny fraction of what college had cost, he could have provided her with an education in real estate that would have produced an actual return on investment (yes, kids need to look at the ROI of a college education BEFORE they drop bills on it).

And don’t forget to continue to invest in yourself.
