Tales of the Hawaiian Rent-A-Dog [PART 2]

Last week I told you about my family’s trip to Hawaii where we gave the Hawaiian animal shelter our hard earned money to be a walking billboard.
Here’s the crazy happily ever after ending to the storyThe brilliant marketing minds at that animal shelter did their homework and created a collage of “FUREVER” homes and I ended up being one of their success stories.
They knew exactly how to make a sale. When we walked in the front door of the animal shelter to see the animals, there was a huge banner that reads“Through These Doors Is The Love Of Your Life”
That coupled with all of their other marketing tactics and systems turned me into a sale.
While my kids were in the cat section checking out some feline friends, I was in the dog area where I met Kalea (it’s a Hawaiian name which means bundle of joy) and I fell completely in love with her and adopted her right there on the spot.
It wasn’t as simple as signing a form and taking her home. We needed to get her back to Los Angeles somehow. And on top of that, we had to get special papers to make her a California pet resident! So we signed the paperwork, bought a special air plane ticket for dogs, and had her flown home to us.
My family was mesmerized by my action and I still to this day am deeply impressed about how a well studied marketing plan can be so successful when it is implemented and executed properly.
Committed to your success,
Ernie “Sucker For Hawaiian Puppy Eyes” Vargas | The Probate Fox

By the way, today is Kalea’s one year adoption anniversary and my family has one heck of a celebration planned!
