| I don’t remember if I told you this, but I had to go to London for one of my masterminds and I decided to bring the whole Vargas clan with me. Along with having an incredible two days with my mastermind, I’ve also had a lot of fun with my family over here. In fact, we’re headed over to Wales today. We did one of those DNA ancestry tests and it confirmed everything my wife’s grandmother told her about her family line. She has a strong lineage to Wales so we decided to visit while we were over here. I met my friends who live over here for dinner a couple of nights ago. They took me out to a Mexican restaurant. It was ok, but British Mexican food has nothing on the Mexican food we have in Los Angeles. I ordered fish tacos and they came with fish sticks on tortillas. Come on, that’s not even trying! Anywhoo, we were talking about the economy. Charlie shared that the market has shifted here in London just as it has back in the states. They’re dealing with everything we are – skyrocketing interest rates, high wages, lack of employees, and crazy out-of-control inflation. But here’s the thing, Charlie told me it hasn’t stopped people from spending, investing, and growing. And it’s true. I saw it with my own eyes. Everywhere you go people are everywhere. Shops are packed. Restaurants are full (we consistently had to wait over an hour to get a table). And there’s growth and construction all over the place. One cool place we went to was Canary Wharf. The whole area is covered with more skyscrapers than I could count. Amazingly, I discovered an entire sprawling city underground. It literally goes on for miles. My mind was blown! Are times tough sometimes? Sure. But opportunity abounds. It’s not going to jump up and slap you across the face though. It’s up to you to pay attention to spot it and have the wisdom to seize it.
