I’m Gonna Need a Vacation From my Vacation

A couple of my Probate Fox teammates just got back from vacation this past week.

Mark, our director of marketing, was camping with his wife Laura (who is seven months pregnant) and their eight kids in the Northwoods of Wisconsin last week.

Rob, who helps with our probate leads division, went with his family to the Virgin Islands.

Gio, our customer service rep, just got back from Cancun.

And Gus, another business partner of mine, was in Cabo.

The funny thing is they all told me that they needed a vacation from their vacation lol.

Well, now it’s my turn.

I’m heading to the Philmont Scout Ranch in New Mexico where I’ll be heading out on an 80-mile hike with my son, Ernie Jr., for the next two weeks.

But it’s not just the mileage that’s scaring me, we’ll be hiking will full packs on our backs! And on top of that, I’ll be hiking through the mountains and sleeping on the dirt with a sky full of stars over my head every night.

I’m already thinking I’m going to need a vacation from my vacation too!

But I’ve been training for this for months now, and I feel like I’m in pretty good shape (for an old guy).

I’m really looking forward to connecting with my son. Cell reception will be sketchy at best, but I’ll stay in touch and maybe send you a few pics of the beauty that our good Lord has surrounded us with.
